Patron Paloma

The Paloma came into existence in Mexico sometime in the 1950's. I'm unsure which of the many origin stories is true, but I know this cocktail is as refreshing as a Mexican getaway!
Originally made with grapefruit soda, more and more mixologists are using grapefruit juice and soda to amp up the thirst-quenching quality of this cocktail. Blanco tequila is usually the choice for a Paloma but this recipe from Patron uses its Reposado, with notes of fruit, citrus and honey, to blend with the bittersweet flavour to create a one-of-a-kind cocktail.
